ABOUT US

The J. Lorch Company was founded in 1918 in Stuttgart/Germany. In the course of our history up to the present day, which has seen us move to Waldenbuch in 1956 and then to Leinfelden - Echterdingen on 21.12.04, we have developed, produced and sold a wealth of different products.

Beginning in 1918 with welding and cutting equipment, this technology was continued with further inventions and developments in soldering technology.

By 1938 we were already offering for sale the first air-regulation products, regulators. Because propane and air were closely related, the leap to air regulators did not pose a particular problem.

In 1960 we began to develop, manufacture and sell safety valves. At the same time we continued to press ahead with the development of air equipment.

In the last few years we have introduced forward-looking developments in the form of maintenance devices, filters, regulators and oil atomisers.

The main emphases of today’s product range are universally known and recognised.

Since 1980 Lorch has been in the ownership of the Schöllkopf family of Stuttgart. This has seen the successful continuation of the tradition of the family-run business. With the arrival of Mel Morton Schöllkopf, this family-oriented approach will also be safeguarded for the future.
